Liposuction is a cosmetic procedure that will give you a fresh and shapely body by removing fat from stubborn areas where you are trying to lose weight. Liposuction, which targets fat that you cannot melt with other methods, is performed by our plastic or dermatological surgeons in areas such as belly, thighs, buttocks, buttocks, back, arms or under the chin.
Lasting only 2 hours, one or more areas can be targeted in each procedure. Although it is not defined as a permanent cosmetic surgery, it reduces the number of fat cells in the area, making it difficult for the body to regenerate the fat where the procedure is performed.
Things to Consider After Liposuction
- Our patients do not need to be hospitalized. In cases where a large amount of fat is removed after liposuction, your doctor will ask you to stay in the hospital for 1 night.
- Patients can carry out their normal daily activities.
- The doctor will hide the incision site in an invisible area. Therefore, patients can return to their normal work 1-2 days after surgery.
- Patients should continue to wear compression garments for 4 to 6 weeks after surgery. Compression garments will help keep the skin in place. Reduce sagging of the skin after surgery. The swelling will gradually decrease about 1 week after surgery.
- It may take 2 to 6 months after surgery to see the final results. Therefore, allow time for your body to fully recover.
